Every individual is on a life journey. Along that journey there is sometimes a bump in the road that throws us off course. When that occurs it can be such a welcome opportunity to have someone walk beside us and help us get back on course. I consider it a privilege to journey alongside individuals, couples and families in that process.

MY GOAL:
To encourage, empower and motivate my clients to live the healthiest lives possible emotionally, physically and spiritually.

WHAT I OFFER TO YOU:
A non-judgmental and safe environment in which you feel comfortable to expose your deepest thoughts, concerns and hopes. Professional insight, a listening ear, objective counsel and a positive relationship in the collaborative dynamic between client and counselor. An opportunity to explore and discover how God is working in your life. Tools and resources to aid in your personal and relational growth.

My counseling approach is relational. For me being a counselor is all about journeying along side you providing insight, tools and encouragement that enable you to grow and change in positive ways. I integrate my counseling with my faith. I often pray with my clients and always pray for my clients.

AREAS OF FOCUS:
Depression and anxiety
Life transitions, grief and loss
Personal and spiritual development
Premarital and marital counseling, women’s issues
Parenting.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:
I am the mom of two grown sons who somehow managed to find the most beautiful (inside and out) wives whom I have the privilege of having as daughters-in-love. I have two grandkids and anticipate the joy of having more. My husband Drew, died in 2001 from the rare disease systemic sclerosis. I love Jesus passionately, he gives my life meaning and purpose every day. I love to laugh, sing and live life to the full.
