Ginger Osborn MA, LLPC

Introduction:
God created each individual intimately with a spirit, soul and body.  To address each part, I assist clients through a growth process.  The process starts with creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment that helps the individual open their hearts to fully examine disabling roadblocks, or inner vows.  Discovery is a next step in the healing process where lies surface and truths are revealed.   Clarity helps define truths, allowing for growth in healthy relationships with ourselves, others and God.  Ultimately, we are who God says we are. God chose us (Eph. 1:4), we are forgiven (Eph. 1:7) and we are His workmanship (Eph. 2:10).
My Goal:
Since we are all created with a spirit, soul and body, focusing on our spiritual, emotional and physical bodies are keys to good health.  My goal is to help connect these three majors with minors such as identifying habitual negative thoughts and behaviors.  The counseling journey is treated with care and compassion, discovering truths that will help clarify the journey and live the best life in Christ.  Having revelation in who God is gives the power to overcome, learn, and be victorious no matter what the circumstance.  The Word of God promises that even when we are faced with challenges, we can declare victory merely by having faith in Christ.  Christ makes optimists of all of us.  He is already writing our end chapters of the book of our lives and they contain a happy ending!
What I Offer:
I offer a safe place to share, explore, and discover new perspectives.  My counseling approach is person-centered and relational.  Encouraging others to do their best is instrumental to living a fulfilled life.  Walking alongside people helping them to experience freedom with insight and new ideas, helps develop a new perspective where positive change can be adopted.  If circumstances cannot be changed, a perspective can be changed.  With Christ, I help others keep their focus on what they have; gratitude turns what we have into enough.  Tools include mindfulness, meditation on God’s Word, and breathing techniques.
Areas of Focus:
Depression and Anxiety; Pre-marriage and Marriage Counseling; Blended Family Counseling; Parenting Counseling; Interpersonal Communication; Sexual Abuse and Recovery; Children or Spouses of Substance Abusers; Personal and Spiritual Development.
On A Personal Note:
My first love in life is Jesus who loves unconditionally, giving me guidance and security to live life with first fruit intentionality.  I am a wife to an amazing man of God and bonus mom to a wonderful son, who loves Jesus and is currently studying to become a physical therapist.  I am at my best when I am serving others.  I enjoy sharing time with friends and my family in Southwest Florida.  In my quiet time, I am passionate about meditating on God’s Word, spending time in my art room, reading, journaling, and working out.
