Stan is a skilled mental health professional who received his graduate degree from liberty University. Since then he has worked with a variety of diagnosis and venues. He is skilled at working with children, adults and families with problems such as; ADHD, cutting, anxiety, trauma, loss, behavior problems, personality disorders, and depression. Stan uses a gentle, person centered, strength-based approach to collaboratively identify and capitalize on individual strengths which are used to increase coping ability and skill acquisition. Stan is trained in several modes of therapy which include, trauma focused CBT, trauma intervention with children, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, art, sand tray, and play therapy. With experience as a therapist and clinical supervisor, Stan is an ideal choice for severely emotionally disturbed children and adults.
